my internet stopped working yesterday. my grandson reset the access point, (verizon 5g home)
the access point reverted back to the default username and password. because of this the nest thermostat
lost its wifi connection, no app connectivity. when i went to reset the wifi info on the thermostat it is locked.
i cannot remember the 4 digit pin i need help to get this working.

If you can't control it using the app anymore, you'll need to reset it using a computer.
If the Nest drive is successfully showing up on your computer, can you see a technicalinfo.PLIST file? If you get this far let me know and I'll ask a community specialist to assist with next steps, as these can't be shared publicly in the community.

I can see the PLIST file when I connect the thermostat to my computer.
