That’s connected for heating only and connected to a millivolt system most likely wall or floor heater. Nest needs 24 volt all the time to work with out having to pull it off and charge it which is not convenient especially if you’re trying to connect to WiFi.

Hi folks,

 

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. Millivolt systems use much less electricity than low voltage systems and can't deliver the right amount of power to Nest thermostats which is the reason why it isn't compatible to the Nest Thermostats.
