"Your heating system briefly stop on multiple occasions losing a degree'

I have received nest messages "your heating system briefly stopped heating my home 4 times".  The message showed 2 hour time periods with a loss of 1-2 degrees. and then the temperature recovered.   my residence has 2 'zoned' Nest thermostats, which when the system runs 'constant fan' the system operates off the main floor thermostat only.  Does anyone know if the messages could be coming from the upstairs thermostat that is not operating when the system is on 'constant fan' or from a faulty flame sensor in the furnace as suggested in the message.  Unfortunately I am unable to determine which thermostat is sending the Message.

Hey there,

Sorry for the trouble you are having. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. There is a chance you there may have a bad control wire. I would recommend having an HVAC pro come out, and take a closer look. Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake

Hello everyone,

@SLBur it's us again. I'm bumping up this thread to ensure that everything is covered here. Let's see what we can do here. For starters, could you check the power readout of your Nest Thermostat. Go to settings> Tech info> power. Also, could you share with us the wiring setup of your Nest Thermostat? Let us know if you have more questions in mind.

I appreciate the help, Jake.

Thanks,
Emerson

I was able to determine the email messages I received were related to the upstairs thermostat of my "Zoned HVAC system".  The fan was turned to 'constant' instead of 'auto' which 'decommissions' the upstairs thermostat, using only the downstairs thermostat to heat.   Though the upstairs thermostat would message 'the heating system briefly stopped on multiple occasions losing a degree', which is accurate, but not malfunctioning, as it could not instruct the furnace to 'heat the upstairs' because the system responds only to the the living room thermostat when on 'constant' fan.  After switching the fan to 'auto' I have had no more email messages and the system is correctly zoning the heat as it should.
