reset heat link

I hope someone can rescue me, we've been fine for years but nest thermostat is saying reset heat link. The heat link was steady yellow light, I pressed it and it flickered into life with green lights. Im stuck on the thermostat asking for 6 digit code which it says is on the side of the heat link but I cant see it. I cant get past this screen it will only accept a code and then tell me its wrong and repeats.

Hi there @Paul28! Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the trouble this has caused you. The  6 digit code you are asking for is at the bottom left side of the Heat Link, near the screw.

Depending on which Heat Link model you have, depends on where the 6 digit code is located.

3rd Gen is on the lid at the bottom by the lid fixing screw in the middle, or by the left wall fixing screw under the cover. Be aware if the lid has been changed the code would be wrong, I always check the code by the fixing screw, as that would be correct.

2nd Gen is at the top of the Heat Link, but you have to remove the lid to see it.

Assuming one of these is the model you have, as you do not state which you have.
