Thanks Jake, yes I still need to know if my wiring is compatible with nest.  Were you able to see the picture?

Thanks

Gordon

Hey gordodout78,

I would be more than happy to check to see if your system is compatible. Apologies, but I am not able to see the picture sent. If you don't mind sending that in again for me to review, that would be fantastic. You can also try using our compatibly checker to see if your system is compatible. It will walk through entering the wires you are seeing on your device and from there, will let you know which are compatible. Please let me know once that has been sent, and I will be happy to review.

Best regards,

Jake

Hey gordodout78,

Sorry to hear about that. Do you mind me asking what error message you are seeing? There is a chance the picture may be the wrong format. Do you mind me asking what type of format the picture is?

Jake

Hey gordodout78,

I am able to see the picture now! Taking a closer look at that, I am only seeing the 2 wires for R and C. With this being the case, I would recommend having a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look. For most standards systems, these would be your power wires. The Pro would be able to review your system and set up the device if compatible. Sorry about that. Please let me know if you have any questions from here.

Jake
