@olavrbFollowing up from here. I set up a new Nest Wifi AC2200 as a point to an existing network inside of our house using the app, then unplugged it and connected it out of WiFi range (way out in the garage) via Ethernet cable. I know the cable works. But nothing happens. There's no WiFi coming from the new Nest.

No switch in between, directly from main unit LAN port to the far away unit WAN port?
Will a computer connected to the same cable far away get internet signal?
What category of ethernet cable, CAT6a? How long is it?
Have you tried to plug an unmanaged switch on the end of the long ethernet cable instead of the Nest Wifi unit, then a short ethernet cable from the switch to the Nest Wifi unit?

That's all troubleshooting tips I can come up with at the moment.

The Ethernet cable has been tested and works. I have a TV which plays streaming content connected to it.
I've tried multiple Nest Wifi units on the Ethernet cable and they don't work. Is there a Googke configuration I'm missing?

There's no configuration you're missing. I'll escalate the thread, hopefully Google can take a look at the logs.

1. If you place the 2nd wired unit closer to the primary unit and test with a shorter ethernet cable, does the 2nd unit switch to wired backhaul according to the Google Home app? Can be seen by going to the 2nd unit in the Google Home app, then settings.
2. How does the LED light on the secondary unit placed far away at the end of the long ethernet cable end up? What color, pulsing vs. constant.
