Can’t add point- requesting scan

Hello. I’ve added my router and first point trying to add second point and as it prompts me to add the device it keeps going to scan the code which the points don’t have codes only the router does. Am I doing something wrong? How can I get around this to add it? Thank you.

Every Nest Wifi router or point should have a QR code printed on the bottom of the device. You're saying that is not present on one of them? Follow these steps:
