Cannot connect NEST to google acct

Lost original un/pw for my NEST thermostat. It used to allow me to control remotely 3 properties. Now it is unaccessible.

Most of the replies in this community forum come from other customers. You could try contacting Support to see if they can offer any guidance with a lost username and password:

My device the NEST thermostat, has an entry key of PCH12RH. I enter that and ht return.

It comes back with "CHECK AND TRY AGAIN”. It goes nowhere after that.

Thanks for the response. To isolate the issue, could you try resetting the Nest Thermostat back to factory defaults?
