Clicking Sound

Brucrew

I recently moved my Google Wi-Fi point from one room to another and now I’m getting a clicking sound that is intermittent but persistent. The puck is now in the master bedroom and the noise is  bad enough that I had to unplug this access point.

I tried factory resetting the puck but that didn’t fix anything.

Please help me resolve this so I can use my mesh network again.

thanks

Hi Brucrew,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with one of your Google Wifi points. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • Do you notice if the clicking sound comes on at a certain time?
  • What generation of Google Wifi do you have? Does it have a speaker?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward
