Recently bought a 3 point Google Wifi system. When going through setup in the Google Home App, I add the first point device, scan the QR code on the back, and when trying to connect to Wifi I get the error "Connection failed. Couldn't connect to device. Try again or tap get help for more solutions."
Nothing provided helps resolve this issue.

Eventually figured this one out. It has to do with privacy settings on your iOS device prohibiting Google devices to join a personal network.
On your iPhone if you go to Settings > Privacy > Local Network > ensure Google Home is enabled.
Fixed the issue for me. Wish this was more widely published, but hopefully this helps.
