My system worked fine with the old Google Wifi app, but when the Home app appeared I deleted the original app and now my system is not detected by the Home app. As I'm having wifi problems, I want to interact with the Google Wifi pucks. I've tried everything including shouting and jumping up and down, but nothing works. I'm afraid that if I reset the pucks, I'll never get the wifi system working again. Any help gratefully received.

Hi @willmow
Do you recall migrating your Wifi network to the Google Home app? You'll need to do that to be able to make changes to your network and control it using the Google Home app, as making changes with the Google Wifi app hasn't been possible for quite some time.

No, I did not migrate, hence my difficulties. Is there a solution?

Is there any help out there? How do I get the Home app to recognise my 4 Google Wifi pucks?

This is a community forum, so most replies here are from other customers.
We do NOT have Google Nest Wi-Fi devices, but I believe Google Nest discontinued the Google WiFi app way back in 2021 (https://www.cnet.com/home/internet/google-getting-rid-of-the-google-wifi-app/), and asked that customers first migrate from the Google Wifi app to the Google Home app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10187786). At some point thereafter, the Google Wifi app was then no longer available for download.
If you deleted your Google Wifi app without migrating to the Google Home app, my GUESS is that you MAY have to do a factory reset of your Google Nest Wifi devices and reinstall them (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619), but maybe another customer who has Google Nest Wifi devices can chime in with a recommendation.
Or you could contact Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
