I have had my Google Wifi for several years. However, for about 2 weeks I have had problems with the internet. The internet provider sent me a new modem. Internet access is now working 100% again.
After the modem change, I wanted to put my Google Wifi back into operation. However, Google Home always reported that it has no connection to the Internet. Thus, I performed a reset on my Google router and also deleted my "Home". I have set up a new home.
But now I have the problem that when I add the Google router to my home in the Google Home app, the setup always aborts. Here's what happens:
- Google Nest Router is found
- QR code I can scan
- Internet connection is checked and working
- Wlan name and password I can enter
After that the app tries to generate the wifi. Here it takes a long time and suddenly always comes the same error "The connection to your wifi access point was interrupted. Please check if wifi and bluetooth are enabled and try again". Wifi and Bluetooth are both enabled on my smartphone. The Google Home app has the latest version and Android is also up to date. And I tested the setup with two different Smartphones.
Do you guys have a solution. I would be very grateful.
Greetings
Simon

Hi Edward
Thanks for your Help and your replies. But I droped the google wifi yesterday. I switched to a tp-link deco x60. Everything works fine with this.
So we can close this case.
Best regards Simon
