A few weeks back, I installed three Google wifi point, and it was easy, simple and fabulous! I could not reach some parts of my home, So I bought two more access points (granted, there are an older generation, different power plugs) I could not get them added....kept getting the same issue over and over: could not join network "setupxxxx"
Decided to go into the app, factory reset the whole network, and start fresh, even from a different google account.
Now I can't even get my original wifi point to connect. I constantly get the message: "Problem connecting Please check if you're online. " My router is connected to the internet....I've rebooted everything multiple times. and I'm at the end of my rope.....as easy as it was first time, now nothing wants to work, please help!!

It's right after it says : "checking for update" the ethernet cable is plugged onto the router

Did you resolve this? If not, are you able to wire a device to the 1st GWP?

Thank you, I finally managed to resolve it. I kept trying, rebooting, and switching pucks around. Finally it started to work, and now I have all 5 points working like a dream.

Hey petervankooij,
It looks like you were able to get this sorted out. I'm happy to see that! Before I mark this one as resolved, I just wanted to follow up and see if there's anything else you needed here. If there's more we can do, just let us know.
Thanks,
Jeff
