Both the QR and Setup Codes are missing of one of my WIFI Nests and it was reset accidently.
Google Help keeps telling me to do it manually (set up without QR code). The problem is, it then asks for the setup code, which I don't have.
What do I do?

The setup code is probably there, just very difficult to see. I had a hard time finding it. The bottom of the device is grey and the code is indented into it. Look around the edge under the "G" . The words 'SETUP CODE' followed by eight digits/numbers should be there. (I took a pic of the bottom then enlarged it to find the code.) NOTE: the serial number is also on the bottom of the device, located above the "G". Hope this helps!

I maybe getting old, and my eyesight fading...but this is ridiculous!!
Yes, you are 100% correct. The code is there but I defy ANYONE to be able to find it without "knowing" that it is there. Thank you so much for your help reneewparker. Leaves one wondering why Google would not tell you this.

It appears there's a manufacturing defect with at least some of these units. I have six Gen 2 units -- two routers, four points -- and none of them have a setup code.
