I want to stop sites that provides audio and video content that provides foreign languages

Community Member

I dont see a way to customize firewall.

I would like to validate the content coming in to see if its content from Russia / China /Japan and block / allow the sites accordingly? How would I do this today on my Google WiFi Router? There are many devices. While I can do it on browsers, I want to see how I can control this firewall at WiFi level. Please, advise.

Hello @kumarr98

This is not possible using the existing Google WiFi system alone. You might be able to achieve some degree of success by implementing a custom DNS server inside your network and having it filter responses accordingly. Something like a PiHole, for example (which is designed to filter requests to ad-serving networks). But, as browsers are now starting to do much of their own DNS resolution directly, using DNS-over-HTTPS, even this may not be as effective as you are asking for.
