I have the kit with 2 access points but it is unclear to me if the router is also a wifi access point for the mesh. Any idea? Knowing this is helpful for positioning the equipment. Appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Rich

If you bought a 2-pack Nest Wifi, one will be the router and the other a point. The router will connect to the modem and point after the router.
Just follow the instructions in the Home app and it will guide you through the process. Here are the instructions in text: Set up Nest Wifi Pro or Nest Wifi

Thank you. I have a 3 pack. I relocated and need to reposition them and wanting to understand if the router unit also serves as an access point for connectivity.

Whichever device is set up connected to the modem will act as the router and broadcast wifi. The others will connect as access points (or extensions) of the network as a mesh expanding the network coverage.
