Is there a way to block a device from connecting to my WiFi?

Once a device has been given your network's WiFi password, there isn't a reliable way to keep it from connecting. You can "pause" it, but that only stops it from accessing the internet – it doesn't stop it from talking to other devices on your local network. Moreover, if the person who owns that device changes its MAC address, that will bypass the pause. The point is, the only really secure solution here is to either remove your network's password from that device, or change your network's WiFi password.

That doesn't work either because they can just scan the QR code and find out the new passcode
