Migrating from Google WiFi app to Google home

Was using Google WiFi app to run my WiFi extender network. Just purchased another extender and found out Google WiFi app is no longer supported. So I downloaded the Google home app but it won’t recognize my existing devices. Only the new one. How do I get my existing devices onto the Google home app to link up my new extender?  Thanks.

Make sure you log in to Google Home with the same Google account you used with Google Wifi. Then follow instructions here:

If that does not work the fastest way to Google Home is to factory reset by using the physical button:

Then set up from scratch in the Google Home app:
