Nest Wifi: restrict device via MAC address?

Is it possible to restrict my access by sorting MAC addresses? It would be like a "whitelist" at the end with my known devices vs.unknown. Everything unknown shouldn't get access to my router

Hello @Anonymous

This is a bit like how the family controls work with pausing. The issue is that devices can change their MAC address to get around it (and many customers' children have figured out how to do that). If you have notifications enabled, you should at least see a pop-up on your phone when a new MAC address connects. But, once a device has been given the shared password for your WiFi, there isn't a great way to keep it from connecting without changing that password. Ok, that's not quite true – they could implement a much more strict policy that denies unknown MAC addresses by default. But, that would make connecting new devices much more difficult, and I don't expect to see Google implement that even optionally.
