Hi,
I just bought the new Nest Wifi to replace/ add to the currently 1st Google wifi i already have in the house to get the fast speeds. When I plugged in the new router, and disconnected the older one, it finds the router fine in the home app but when it tries to create the mesh network it fails every time. How can I fix this?

I am having this same problem. I have just changed providers and trying to connect the mesh system and it picks up the wifi but won't connect to the internet! I have factory reset followed the instructions they have given me and it's still not working

I figured out what my problem was, since I already had a mesh network setup it wouldnt let me create a new one. I had to delete my old network then everything worked like a charm. I was even able to setup my old Google Wifi nodes to extend my mesh.

How did you delete the old mesh network, did you do a factory reset on the google wifi?

I had to delete it through Google home.

Hey, everyone.
I just wanted to jump in real quick to see if the resets and Home app network removal and setups were working out for you. If anyone is still having issues with this, please let me know.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
