New install using PPPoE

I just purchased a Nest Wifi router and point today. My ISP uses fios with PPPoE protocol. Before I unbox this is there clear guidance that the Nest Wifi works with PPPoE? Is there a preferred installation for this?

Thank You

Yes, Nest Wifi supports PPPoE. See the PPPoE steps linked below.

Ok Thanks! This article talks about "changing" my WAN settings, is there anything I need to be aware of when initially setting up so PPPoE is used? or am I over thinking it lol

Hey folks,

We appreciate your help here, @David_K and @olavrb.
@clipperqb, I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Please let me know if you are still having any concerns or questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Thanks,
Mel

I was unable to ever get past the "checking internet connection" message. I actually ended up calling the ISP about my bill and learned my discount was about to end because they are under new ownership. So they are offering 1 year deal for faster service at less cost than I pay now. So I'll do that instead. I appreciate the help here, great forum!
