Prioritize question

<span;>Good day all,  it's really just a question I can't seem to find the answer for. We stream often from a phone or tablet, to our smart tv. We're having issues with the feed only when casting: the feed stalls, or the feed skips to try to catch up etc.  When watching on the phone/tablet, there are no issues everything runs perfect.  It's a sports app that I cannot get on my smart tv so I have to cast from a device to the tv in order to watch on the big screen. I want to prioritize a device in the hopes that this will help but not sure which one I would prioritize.. The device I'm casting from, or the device I'm casting to?  Casting devices are apple and receiving devices are android if that makes a difference. And its not just happening for the sports app, but that one is the most frustrating.  Suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi kokomayla,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Both devices are using internet when you cast something but if you have to prioritize a device, I would suggest prioritizing the device that you're casting to as it's the one that is streaming the content.

Thanks for the suggestion!! It does seem to have fewer issues now that i set priority to the tv as soon as I start casting.. I was flipping back and forth before between the two before. If I have an issue again I'll know where to post for help!
