I am trying to add my google wifi as additional point into my newly set up google nest wifi but the google wifi become a new separate network instead of joining the mesh.
I have recently upgraded from google wifi (gen1) to google nest wifi (router +1 point)
I re-set up my google nest Wifi as the main network and have factory reset all my google wifi.
supprt have tried to reset and add the point with me, but it keeps failing at the last stage.
the google wifi is bought from US. The google nest wifi is bought from SG.

Mixing Wi-Fi equipment from different regions/ countries often won't work due to differences in Wi-Fi regulations. I'd send back or sell all equipment not made for the region/ country you're in.

Hi, Gadgetsam.
It looks like olavrb was able to get you some good info on this. I just wanted to follow up and see if you were all set now or if you still needed some help. If you still need anything, just let us know.
Thanks.
