Use router as an access point without ethernet connection

Hi

I own a google nest wifi router and I need to add one more point to the mesh.

Can I use a nest wifi router on the mesh, instead of buying a google nest wifi access point ?

At this point, I cannot hardwire the second router but I plan to do that in the future.

Hi, shijugm.

It looks like you were able to get your answer on this, but I wanted to check in to make sure you were all set or to see if there's anything else you needed. If there's any more I can do, please let me know.

Thanks!

Even cooler, you'll actually get better speeds using a router as an access point over the actual access point devices.
