My current installation has the Google WiFi in the highest upstream location with a public IP address connected directly to the modem. I'm not really sure why I did it this way - perhaps to get the best WiFi speeds.
Now I'd like to connect downstream of a Cisco router on the private LAN and not have any added NAT.
Is that possible? How?

Nest Wifi can be bridged, acting as a "dumb" access point:
If you got multiple it's not straight forward to manage, as you can have only one bridged Nest Wifi per Google Home home.

My plan is to WIRE the upstream side of one Google Mesh device (3X set) to the main LAN network.
I don't plan on using a Nest device,
And, I don't need nor want voice commands. Is that only with speakers or what?
Presumably, it would pick up a network address on the WAN side either by DHCP or we can set a static address.
Then, if it is set to Bridge, the LAN side will be connected to the main LAN upstream.
The building is already wired so we can plug the upstream bridge device into the network at a number of locations.
Then, the other 2 devices will be judiciously distributed around the building for WiFi coverage.

Only the Nest Wifi add-on point without ethernet ports has speaker and mic.
Bridging Nest Wifi also makes it so that the Nest Wifi pucks doesn't cooperate anymore. So no mesh, no client handover festures. And you must manage each puck from a different Google Home home.
I'd rather buy actual access points for this if I were you. Ubiquiti Unifi maybe?
