Using a Nest Wifi as a primary router, and a Google Wifi as a point to extend

I have a Nest Wifi router (AC2200) and a Google Wifi router. I'm hoping to use the Nest Wifi router as my primary router, and the Google Wifi as a point to extend coverage into the house. It sounds like this should be possible, based on this support article, but I wanted to double check whether I'm interpreting this correctly.

Thanks, I just purchased my Nest Wifi, so I'll be trying this out soon. I had my question answered.
