I am running Google Wifi - AC1200 Smart Mesh Wi-Fi with four pucks. I have been running the same setup for a couple of years now. Recently the mesh connection is showing as weak when I test it (and connectivity/internet speed on devices is bad) whereas it used to be good or great for each WIFI point. I didn’t change the location of the points or anything. I’ve tried restarting my network but it hasn’t helped. What could the problem be and how do I fix it? Thanks!

Hi, SMM50.
Sorry for the issues you're having with your network strength. That sounds like a big frustration. Aside from restarting the network, have you tried any other troubleshooting steps so far? If you run a mesh test, what are the signal strengths you are getting at each point?
I'll be happy to help you figure this out. We can run through a few tests after you run that mesh test and let me know the results.
Thanks.

One of the points has a good connection and the other two have weak connections. The issue is that they all used to be good or great and I did not change anything.

Thanks for the update, SMM50.
Have you tried moving the points to see if you can improve their connection? I see that things changed without you moving them, but it's possible other factors changed, such as new sources of interference for the wireless signal. It might be worth shuffling their position a bit (doesn't need to be dramatic) to see if anything changes in the mesh test result. With the restart not having impact, interference might be worth ruling out.
Thanks.
