Wifi in House and Garage

Greetings and thank you in advance for your help! I have a Garage / Barn / Shop about 200 feet from my  house. I have Cat5 run to the barn and previously had a netgear router in the house and in the barn to have wifi in the barn. Unfortunately the house and barn were different networks. Also, our house is 4 stories, so we had multiple separate routers in the house to get coverage on all levels of the house. We recently had a lightening strike take out all of our routers (and a bunch of other stuff) and I am rebuilding. Is it possible to have 1 Nest WIFI unit plugged into my DSL modem as the primary, then have another Nest unit plugged in via eithernet cable to have better coverage in my basement, then have another plugged into the basement one to 'power' the Cat5 to the barn. Then in the barn plug in another Nest unit and have them all play nice with each other to give better wifi coverage in the house and barn and smoother transitions from the house to the barn? 

Cliff's notes can I do this:

Router with wired connection to Nest #1. Nest #1 wired to Nest #2. Nest #2 wired to Nest #3.

Yup, that's a supported setup. It's called wired backhaul. You can read more about it here. 🙂

Good Afternoon, thanks for the help! I was able to get the 3 routers hooked up and working as desired. All are hardwired and it is working great! Now to find one that is weatherproof that I can put outside in the yard...
