I was using the Google wifi app with the home wi-fi google system, it since said I had to migrate the google wi-fi over to the Google home app. I can not add my google wi-fi to the Google home app. I've turned everything off. I have a Netgear cable modem I purchased. I want to manage the wi-fi and can't, everything I find says its done through the google home app which I can't use because it won't recognize I have google wi-fi.

If you set it up with the Google Wifi app, you need to migrate it to the Google Home app to be able to manage it and add new Wifi points going forward. Basically, you need to follow the steps I linked above.

Only the owner of the Google Wifi network (the account used to set it up) can migrate it to the Google Home app. For 'Import Google Wifi network' to appear, sign in to the Google Home app with the same account that's used as the 'Owner' in the Google Wifi app.

What happens when you try these steps?

Are you logged into the Google Home app with the same account that was the owner of the network in the Google Wifi app?

I don't know.  I set up my original mesh network several years ago when google still used the wifi app.  I replaced two of the original routers two years ago.  Since then google has brought everything under the home app umbrella.  Today a tried to connect to my mesh network using the home app and was unable to even find it.  What I wanted to accomplish was to test the speed of my google routers.  My service provider delivers about 900megabits - the google router is only allowing 300 gigbits through
