using system overseas in asia

I have procured a google nest system.  Just making sure that it will work in the Philippines where the power is 220 volts instead of the 110V here in the states.  I assume it is not any issue, but want to make sure before I ship it off.

Thanks

Mike

Hello @traveler790

Assuming you're asking about Nest WiFi, the power supply should be fine overseas. However, the 5GHz WiFi channel used in the U.S. may not be allowed in other countries. The nodes will talk to each other just fine, but any client devices that are manufactured for use in the Philippines or are capable of detecting where they are and following those rules may not see the 5GHz band and could end up only connecting through the 2.4GHz band. That will still work, but the performance at closer ranges will be reduced.
