latest version off the Google Home app doesnt seem to support Google Wifi setup.
If I click on "WAN Connection" under "Advanced Settings", I get the message "You cannot edit these settings right now. Ensure this mobile device is connected to your Wi-Fi network."

I had this issue, but found that I could resolve it as follows. Instead of going to the Network Settings directly from the Wi-Fi settings page, tap on “x Points” (x being the number of access points), tap on the main router, settings cog icon, Network settings, Advanced Networking, WAN connection .
Going via that route it shows me the settings, although still can’t change them when the network is operating. If you tap on “Show me how” it explains that you can change it if you pull out the Ethernet cable of the main router (I found I needed to pull both out).
Does this work for anyone else?

Hey folks,
Since all of you are still unable to edit the Wi-Fi settings in the Google Home app, I'll go ahead and keep this thread open for now until an app update resolves this. For those who haven't sent feedback about this issue, it would really help if you could do so. Check out this guide: Share feedback about Google Nest Wifi or Google Wifi.
Cheers,

I was able to use the Google WiFi app to make changes, and specifically it told me that in order to update the WAN settings, the WAN Ethernet connection needed to be unplugged. When I unplugged that, I could change settings from the Google WiFi app.

Hey! Thanks to this I was able to get to make changes, but when I try to make changes and save, it says "oops" that an error occurred and settings cannot be saved?
08-15-2023 10:45 PM
I have the same issue, which ever way I try to access the settings I'm told "You cannot edit these settings at the moment."
I'm trying to change my nest settings from FTTN (via a modem) to FTTP direct.
V frustrating - terrible experience.
What is the ETA to fix this?
Thanks

I’m having this exact issue. I can’t seem to find a fix anywhere. I’ve tried the suggested work around on this thread but I can’t save the changes.
Be better google!!
