2nd Nest x Yale Lock - Offline

Jaenciso

Starting off by saying I have always supported Google Products and have a "Google Home" with more products than I care to admit and have been happy with them. However, that has stopped with the Nest x Yale Lock.

I purchased a Nest x Yale Lock in May 2022, worked flawlessly until October 2022, the lock will not connect to the network for more than 20 mins, batteries are needing to be replaced every 4th day. Imagine coming home not knowing if you will be able to unlock your house!

I contacted Yale support walked through all of their troubleshooting, resets, factory resets, removing from google accounts, etc etc etc. UNTIL they gave up and sent me a brand new lock! Success!

WRONG!

The 2nd lock is doing the same thing. It will not stay connected. The app shows no issue with the Nest Connect, batteries are full, there is nothing blocking the signal. Please help!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, I would love to look into this further for you. If you haven't already, you can learn here how to factory reset your Yale lock, which may help to reset issues it may be having. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best regards,

Brad

Brad,

I have done everything. Nothing works. I want my money back. Google does not care about fixing this.
