Is it still possible to add the discontinued Nest Guard to a Nest or Google Home account?
Using the Nest app, the Nest Guard (new out of the box) appears to connect to Wi-Fi and an existing Nest Protect in the home, but it fails to connect to the Nest service. Tried all the forum suggestions - restarted Nest app, restarted iPhone, restarted Nest Guard, restarted router, decreased router security, moved everything closer, factory reset Nest Guard. Could not find Nest Guard MAC address to whitelist it in router security settings.
I was also unable to add the Nest Guard to Google Home.
Then I read the Nest Guard is discontinued.
Is there a workaround to add Nest Guard to either the Nest app or the Google Home app?
