Alternatives to Nest Detect

Is there any alternative to the Nest Detect sensor in the Google Nest Alarm system? I invested a good amount of money setting up my alarm system and now I cannot add more sensors? Is there a plan for an alternative? or the only way to go is to migrate to a different system? Are there plans to discontinue other items in the system? This is very frustrating.

No, unfortunately. The only suggestion I have would be to try to source a used Nest Detect.

Google stopped selling the Nest Secure alarm system at the end of 2020. Google still delivers critical security updates and software fixes for it and its accessories like Nest Detect, but no longer sells them.
