I recently upgraded my iPhone at an iPhone 15. I restored my apps and was able to login to the Nest app. Most things are working as normal except when I try to add additional guests to the lock and assign codes. When trying to add a guest I immediately get the error “Something went wrong. Try again”. I have tried it everything I can think of, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Nest app, I have added the app to a different device, I have restarted the phone, same result every time. The strange part is that I there were no issues adding guests using my old iPhone, even when I had issues on the new phone. I thought there was contention with 2 phones connecting to the same lock so I logged out of the Nest app on the old phone but that didn’t fix it, when I logged back in on the old phone I couldn’t add guests anymore. I saw a previous post where the user reinstalled the Nest Connect. Does anyone know if that is the solution? I would have to drive 4 hours round trip to remove the Nest Connect and reinstall it, I would prefer a better solution. Thanks for any info from anyone who has experienced the same issue.

hello to all!! I had the same problem!! looked into every blog and called more than twise to the help desk (google) with no success at all....
FINALLY!!! today i was able to fix it!!!
If you are like me that used to have a Nest house alarm in your NEST account/APP , you need to :
Open Nest app
go to settings
Remove all the sensors and the nest home alarm (Remove device).
Reboot your NEst app
go again to the NEst X Yale icon
select family & Guest
NOW you should be able to edit your current passcodes and add more users/passcodes.
Good luck / buena suerte

@Hdezplata I was hopeful when I saw your post as I also had the Nest Alarm. So I deleted 1 of the devices associated with the Alarm. Quick question, when I deleted one device all the devices were deleted as well, is that what happened to you or did you have to delete each sensor/device separately.
Anyways after removing the Alarm from the Nest app and restarting the app i am still getting the error and cannot add new guests or change the passcodes.

Hey there!
I know it's super frustrating to troubleshoot these things, especially when you've already tried so much. Based on what you've described, it sounds like you've gone through all the usual steps – big kudos for that!
The good news is, our Nest support team deals with these kinds of things all the time. They have some advanced tools and a deep well of knowledge about your specific issue. They'll be able to take a closer look at what's going on and get your device back up and running in no time.
I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I truly believe our Nest support team is your best bet to get your device working again.
Regards,
Brandon.
