My nest doorbell won’t connect to my WiFi, only get as far as connecting, then stops

Having this issue over and over, any help out there?

How's the wifi signal strength where your doorbell is?  Can you move your router closer to the doorbell and try again?  Have you tried a factory reset and start fresh?

Yeah, I have a strong network with a EERO mesh. I was trying to install it in the house first. I tried both factory and refresh and that didn’t connect at all. Couldn’t see the device on my phone either. I tried to go through the setup twice. I returned it and ordered a new one.  Sometimes new systems have glitches.
