Trying to set up nest connect with our Yale lock. It was set up before and started failing. Tried to remove nest connect from the app and re-add. Looks like it connects to the Wi-Fi but it never finishes the last part of starting the network.

I have used a nest Yale lock for three years when it suddenly stopped responding to the app. I did the factory reset multiple times, on both Lock and the nurse connect with no help. I have now purchased a new Yale lock and it also will not connect to the app. Nest connects both old and new connect to the app no problem. When I try to install the lock and scan the QR code it cannot find a Nest product to assist with installation. I’ve tried this with both pushing the blue button on the lock to put it in pairing mode and also not doing that with no change. The Lock reports that it cannot find a Nest product to link to. If I try to manually add a lock without the QR code, he wants me to reinstall the Nest connect every time. I have done this as well, but then it doesn’t move on to installing a lot manually. If I try to install the lock manually it wants me to reinstall an S connect and we get stuck in that cycle. I thought my Lock I just stopped working because it was old, but apparently I’m not the only one with this issue and now that I have purchased a new lock I still have the same issue. How can I fix this? My nest hello works just fine a foot away from the lock.

It sure was nice when nest had excellent customer service like Amazon and Apple. You could get tech-support within minutes. Now it’s seemingly nonexistent since google got involved. Such a shame as their products were so good.
