Nest Yale lock keypad is unresponsive even after replacing batteries

I just tried to do a factory reset for my Nest Yale lock but the keypad is not lighting up so I'm not able to enter a master code. I tried replacing the batteries and doing another reset but keypad is still unresponsive. Tried changing batteries again and still no lights on the keypad. At this point the lock can only be locked manually now (from inside) but there is no way to enter a code to unlock it from outside... 😞 Please help.

I am having the same issue with mine. Started about two weeks ago. I just did a factory reset and still nothing is working on the keypad side.

I do have the same problem, replace batteries and the keypad is no longer working, in response with any touch. It only works with the app

I've the same issue and it started TODAY. The lock was working perfectly and even if I change the batteries it keeps the same behaviour.

Once I lock/unlock using the deadbolt the keypad works again for 1 time and them stop to respond when I touch the Yale button.

After contacting Yale support, they had me remove the batteries and remove the interior side of the lock. Then disconnect the cable that is inside for a few moments. Afterwards I connected it back and reassembled the lock. Haven’t had the issue come back at all since then.

I hope this helps.
