Nest Yale lock offline

My nest take lock suddenly went offline. I followed all the troubleshooting and it reconnected for a few hours then went offline again. Please help.

Thanks for visiting the Community. We’re sorry to hear that and your efforts are much appreciated here. Let’s sort this out. How far is your Nest x Yale lock from the Nest Connect and router? When did the issue start? Does it happen persistently or intermittently? What’s the status light of your Nest Connect? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the lock and Connect? Also, did you check if the batteries of your lock aren’t drained?
 

Here are some troubleshooting you can try:

 

  1. Hold down your Nest Connect’s button until the light pulses blue (about 10 seconds). Then release the button. 
  2. Wait for Connect’s light to turn green, which means the restart is complete.
  3. Check whether your Connect and lock come back online in the app.
  4. Restart your lock. Take off the battery cover and remove the batteries from your lock. If you received a low battery alert, use a fresh set of standard AA batteries. Don't use rechargeable batteries with your lock.
  5. Wait a few minutes to check if your lock comes back online.
