Nest Yale lock won't switch presence sensing to home or away when enabled in Google Home presence sensing for locking/unlocking. Both my wife and I phones location presence sensing are set to off in Google home and presence sensing settings is also set to not use phones locations. Software versions are all up to date on phones.
I would like to not use our phone locations to switch home/away presence and only use lock/unloked of the door. It is more accurate especially with kids and would allow us as well to have notifications at night as well when the lock is locked and are phones are with us in the house. All the settings are there in Google home, but it is not working at all. Not even sometimes.

Location history was also deleted on both phones just to be sure.

Hi Yepi,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. Controlling your Nest x Yale lock in the Home app has limited functionality. Have a look at this article: Control your lock with the Google Home app. Changing your lock's settings when you're home or away can be achieved in the Nest app. Check out this guide: How to change Nest × Yale Lock's settings with the app.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
JT

Hi Yepi,
It's me again. I want to make sure you're all good — how did the steps go?
