Nest connect

Bought the Yale lock from the google store. I have tried to connect the nest connect to the nest app. Google home sends you there. Tried adding the nest connect and get error code NA004(0.80) nest connect couldn’t connect to wi-fi. Make sure that your wi-fi network is connected to the internet and you entered the correct password. I have tried resetting the nest connect. Looked to see where the password would be in the app to no avail. I know when I first started to set it up it did ask for a password. Have tried calling google twice and got the run around. Anyone else have suggestions?

Can you share the case ID from your interaction with the support team so I can check what happened?

 

Also, you can try to reset the Nest Connect one more time before adding it back to the Nest app:

 

  1. Plug the Nest Connect into a power outlet.
  2. Press and hold the bottom button until the LED light turns yellow and then blue. This action should reset Nest Connect to the factory default.
  3. Pair it back, if possible.

I have reset the nest connect a couple of times. Held the button until the yellow light turned off. I have noticed that the nest connect will be a slower fade when reset and a faster fade after trying to connect. I never got a case id as I was sent to the Yale lock group first and he only wanted to reset the lock. Then I talk to someone in speaker and said that it the Shaw modem issue. There is no support for the nest connect by its self.
