The keypad on our Nest x Yale lock has stopped lighting up, and I have replaced all batteries, and have attempted a factory reset. However, upon resetting it, I'm asked to press the Yale logo to begin set-up, but the keypad is still not functioning.
Does it need to be replaced? If so, will a replacement be sent? A product shouldn't stop working after just two years...

Hey there,
You may want to reach out to Yale to see if they can fix this issue for you, or if a replacement is needed. There are many help articles that go over some troubleshooting steps but it sounds like there may possibly be a malfunction of the keypad. Do any of the buttons work? Or is this just that the lights do not light up?
Best Regards,
Kalla.

Yale was of no assistance, and the speaker/privacy button on the back of the device works. However, the keypad does not light up and does not register any action. When I reset it, it wants me to press the "Yale button" on the keypad to begin set-up, but it doesn't even register that.

I'm an installer and am having the same exact issue on a project with one of theirs. Is there any kind of answer from Google, nest or Yale?
