Nest x Yale Lock Notifications in Google Home App

Does anyone know how to get notifications for the nest lock through the Google Home instead of the Nest App?

With the death of the Nest Secure I really don't have a reason to keep the Nest App so I was hoping to be able to uninstall it.

Unfortunately, I noticed that the Google Home App doesn't get notifications if the lock fail to close. So would love to be able to move away from the Nest App if possible.

Not possible unfortunately, the notifications for Nest x Yale Lock require the Nest app. I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.

Right now, the best option is to only control the Nest × Yale Lock using the Nest app. In the meantime, I'll go ahead and lock this thread within 24 hours. If you run into any more questions in the future, please feel free to create a new thread.
