No Unlock Notifications

The Lock does not send Unlock Notifications, though it continues to send Locked Notifications.

Today I

Unistalled Nest Connect.

Factory Reset the Nest X Yale Lock

Factory Reset the Connect

Added everything back to the Nest App.

I received TWO unlocked y "XYZ" notifications and then it stopped again.

 

Still receive Locked notifications , but no unlock notifications.

EDIT: I have also done all of the below steps several times

  1. Notification Settings:
    • Check App Settings: Ensure notification settings are enabled for your Nest x Yale Lock in the Google Home app.
    • Review Lock Settings: Verify if there are any specific settings related to unlock notifications within the lock itself.
  2. Network Connectivity:
    • Wi-Fi Signal: Ensure your lock has a strong Wi-Fi connection.
    • Router Restart: Restart your router to refresh the network connection.
  3. Lock Firmware:
    • Update Firmware: Check for any available firmware updates for your Nest x Yale Lock.
  4. Lock Hardware:
    • Battery Check: Verify the lock's battery is fully charged and functioning correctly.
  5. Check for Error Messages:
    • Look for any error messages in the Nest app or on the lock itself.

 

Does anyone have any ideas at all???

I have read the threads with similar issues but there doesn't seem to be a solution posted.

Thank you for your reply. I should've mentioned in my original post that I have also performed all of the above steps several times as well. As you can see from mu OP, I am receiving locked notifications, so clearly there is something blocking the unlock notifications. From going through the threads I see I am not the only one. Would it be possible to confirm that this is not a feature that has been turned off, or is now a paid only feature? What else can I do to enable it? Thank you for your time.

Based on the information provided, we can tell that the notifications for other Nest devices and even partial notifications for the Nest x Yale Lock are working fine, however when the device is unlocked, the app does not display the necessary information. This feature has not been turned off nor has been converted into a paid feature, however we need to check more details for the app and device where you are using it. 

Let me ask you some questions to make sure we gather all the necessary information (about the Nest App) to provide you with better assistance: 

  1. What is the make and model of your device?
  2. What is the mobile device’s operating system? Is it up to date?
  3. What is the Operating System version?
  4. What is the mobile app version?
  5. Who is your service provider?
  6. Does the issue happen often?
  7. Have you tried using other devices?
  8. Were there any changes to the Wi-Fi network?
  9. Do you use email or push notifications?
  10. Are there other family members who can access the Lock? Do they receive any notifications?
  11. Has the Lock been moved recently?

  8. No changes to Wi-Fi network
  9. Both email and push notifications are turned on. I have also tried turning them on/off and logging in/out via app and web.
  10. I have no other family members
  11. The lock has not been moved. I have even tried to uninstall the lock, remove it from the app and then reinstall it. A laborious process that involved taking the lock apart, spending 30 minutes or more.
