I took advantage of the offer to replace the Nest Secure equipment with ADT. I've set it all up, and can control using the ADT+ app.
* If I have all my Nest equipment set up on Google Home, is it redundant to synch them to the ADT+ app?
* Should you be able to change the ADT arming modes on the Google Home app? I added the ADT equipment to Google Home, and can see the hub, but it only shows it as equipment, no ability to see nor change modes.
* Is anyone else reluctant to allow ADT to access your other Nest equipment?

Thanks for posting in our community.
Since you've switched your security system to the ADT+ app, syncing your Nest equipment to Google Home and the ADT+ app may be redundant.
I would say the ADT+ app should be your primary control point for your security system. Since you won't be able to change ADT arming modes through Google Home anymore, you can likely still see Nest devices as equipment, but functionality like mode changes might be limited.
And about ADT accessing your Nest equipment, it's a good idea to check ADT's privacy policy to understand how they handle your data.
Let me know how it goes.

Angel.

The problem you are having is the same many of us have. The equipment is not fully compatible.

If this is the case, wouldn't this be a software issue that can't be fixed. Would this be a reason to cancel the contract?
