I use the NEST YALE lock for my rental property.
I changed my batteries in mid-May at the start of the season.
I have been constantly getting an error message "Couldn't lock the door" yet the deadbolt is closed.
It is very annoying for my guests and me, as I keep getting alerts. This seems to be a constant comment on this blog with no real response other than reset, which doesn't seem to work anyway for others.
Any other options?
If you are having issues with your Yale Lock, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
