Yale Lock Condensating

user_p

Is anyone else having condensation inside the Yale lock (where you put the batteries) during summer or just when it's hotter in general? It has even been condensating on the front of the lock itself (touchpad). I know this is like the highest heat index record year. I don't know what else I can do to help with this issue aside from keeping the house warmer. (Which is almost impossible for me with dogs with thick coat in this heat.) I don't imagine this is good for the lock since the circuit board is right underneath where the batteries are.

Hi @user_p,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear about the condensation issues you're experiencing with your Yale lock, especially given the challenging heat this year. I understand your concern about the potential impact on the lock's electronics and the difficulty of adjusting your home's temperature with your dogs' needs in mind. I'll do my best to provide a solution as soon as possible.
