I have a nest Yale Lock that went offline out of nowhere and after failed attempts to reconnect it I chose to remove the device and try reconnecting it. However during the process when it says to hold the button untill it turns blue there is no change no matter how long I hold it down. I assume it's a hardware problem I just don't want to replace it if it happens to be a software issue I'm not aware of.

I have that problem too. Very frustrating. Good luck getting an actual answer from Google!

To isolate the hardware issue, let’s factory reset the Nest × Yale Lock, then add it back to the Nest app.

I have same issue, i did the factory reset , all look normal , it says is connected at the end , BUT when i tried to connect to the Home Google app the white buttom doesnt respond, didnt turn blue , it only beeps and nothing else

@dgbk26, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having the same issue. Have you already tried the troubleshooting steps suggested before? If yes, how was it?
@ivochiriboga1, since a factory reset of the lock didn’t fix the issue, the best thing to do is contact Yale Customer Support for replacement options.
