My Yale doorlock has worked fine with Nest Connect for over 3 years. First signs of trouble were tamper alarms occurring regularly without cause. It would work again after flipping a battery out and in, until the next alarm, days or weeks later. I tried to clear this alarm sign from my nest app without success and I finally tried removing the lock from nest. Nest version is 5.81.0.8 (on pixel 9) , Nest Connect 1.4 software version is 1.3.3-1. Now I cannot connect the lock to wifi using Connect. Connect is live and hence on the correct (not Guest) wifi network. I have 3-unit Orbi mesh network in a 1600 sf house. Following the Yale lock setup procedure I get stuck at "push button until flashing". Button does not light up by pushing it for a long time. Next: factory reset. Push reset button while inserting batteries: Yale button does not light up. Note that button does light up when I flip battery out and in. Please advise.
