I keep getting this error when I try to link my lock to the nest app. I have tried everything. Please help before I ditch this lock for good.

Hey! I did a quick search for the error you're getting and found a few other people having the same issue. Here is how one user from Reddit resolved it:
Put in battery.
Press Yale to make it happy.
Press the button to wake it up and listen for instructions.
Press and hold UNTIL it says Ready, then let go.
Open Nest and Add Product and scan the QR code.
Hit through the couple Next and don't touch the lock itself again. Especially when the app tells you to. Just hit Next.

Have you tried a Factory Reset? Restarting and factory resetting your Google Nest camera or doorbell will have different results:
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
Factory reset: Erases all your settings and options, and restores its factory default settings. It will not automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and you'll need to set it up again.
You can find this information, plus additional information on this process here. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Best Regards,
Brad.
